On Thursday 5th Jan the club held an EGM to vote on the following two resolutions:-

1. A revision to the subs for the U6s with a reduction from £60 to £40 to reflect the reduced costs of starting up an U6s team. This will be retrospective for the 2011-12 season.

2. The election of Keith Murray and Andrea Hicks to the committee to share the Marketing Officers post.

I am pleased to say that both resolutions were passed and it is nice to have strong representation from the U6s on the committee.

Paul Ames also announced that he would not be seeking re-election as Chairman. Whilst continuity is important the club also needs to continue to develop and this happens best with a regular change in the management committee. The other key roles have indicated their intention to stand for re-election to maintain the continuity and these are:-

Jon Allam - Treasurer

Annie Steel - Club Welfare Officer

Daniel Fuller-Smith - Secretary and Assistant Welfare Officer
